Will Rueb

William Rueb is a Junior at the University of Oregon, majoring in Advertising with a minor in Sports Business. He chose this path because of how present advertising is in everyday life and his long-time interest in both marketing and law. Growing up with a lawyer for a dad, William was naturally drawn to the idea of working in a space that blends communication, strategy, and the legal field—ideally within a law firm or sports organization.He graduated from De La Salle High School in Concord, California, and has already gained hands-on experience in both law and marketing. During his internship with RSD Law Firm, William spent time in both Atlanta and San Diego. In Atlanta, he sat in on depositions and reviewed documents tied to an Ethylene Oxide emissions case, which gave him real insight into how legal research and case prep work. In San Diego, he shadowed the firm’s marketing director, Jeff Maulden, learning how law firms position themselves to potential clients.Will was hired by Signature Services Construction and Painting to create marketing videos for their website. Through this role, William developed skills in video production and branding—helping the company boost its online presence.Known for being a strong communicator and dependable team player, William brings energy and focus to every project he takes on. He works well with others, meets deadlines, and thrives in collaborative settings. When he’s not working or in class, you’ll probably find him watching hockey—he’s a die-hard San Jose Sharks fan.
